Colleagues = My friend and neighbor, James Stephens, KA4HDR,
died this morning at Frederick Memorial Hospital = Funeral
services are tentatively planned for 1100 Friday, 7 June,
at the Williams Funeral Home in Brunswick, Maryland

If there is anyone among you who knew Jim, his widow, Maudie
KA3WEG, and his son, Jay, KB3ICU, have issued a call for any
HamRadio friends who could to serve as pallbearers Friday

I can't do this anymore, having accumulated enough health 
problems in my own right = If anyone among you can serve,
please contact Jay or Maudie = Their phone number is 301/
834-9062

If you could also distribute this among FARC and ARA mem-
bers, I believe it would be appropriate = Jim was active 
in our ARES nets in support of monthly CommEx drills and
served as NCS for the safety net during the Brunswick Tri-
athlon 18 May = He was also our "Ham Doctor" in Brunswick,
repairing many others' equipment and acting as mentor to
younger ops working toward their licenses
