Lol, let me see how long did the string have to be, to attach to the
other tin can.  I might need to send a few keep alive messages just to
see if the other tin can is still working.
  Okay got the protocol, maybe got the device for local lan, now how do
you connect your regions or counties together.  The only thing I see so
far that is not in the picture is the link in the 20mile range from
county to county, this could be done over canopy equipment and they are
18mile devices with directional dishes that look like direct tv using
eth power injectors if you could find some that are not expensive or a
similar product..
