Buddy,
I suggest you share your ideas with us and the FRC. I will be the first to
admit that I know very little about D Star. While your ideas might be well
founded, only the FRC will control channel spacing and frequency allocation.
The better informed they are, the better the decisions should be. You did
mention the one thing that has me concerned, which is interference. Since
the conventional digital network is already in place, we need to ensure that
the burden of resolving interference issues does not fall to us. This is
assuming that the packet equipment is working correctly. In addition, FADCA
needs to ensure that there are enough channels intact for our purposes.
