Having heard from a quorum of the FADCA BOD that those board members
received notification of the resignation of Doug Welcker WB4KGY as
President of FADCA -

Notice is made that the Vice President of FADCA, Doug Christ KN4YT, is
now  the general manager and chief executive officer of FADCA until
the Board of Directors appoints a new president.

KN4YT's first duty will be to appoint a nominating committee
chairperson who will, in turn select a committee of not less than
three  individuals to collect the nomination for the appointment of
president of FADCA.  The appointment of the chairperson is subject to
a vote of the BOD. (Article VII - Officers FADCA By-Laws.)  The office
of president of FADCA appointed by the BOD,

While the president of FADCA does not need to be a District Director
or other officer of FADCA, if not, the President becomes a BOD member
at large, only having a vote when there is a tie vote by the BOD.

This notice, along with other issues requiring a vote by the BOD or
General Membership may be effected using e-mail.  (Amendments to the
By-Laws - Addition to Article V -Voting and changes to Article VI -
Board of Directors and Article VIII- Meetings dated February 14,
2004.)

I don't see the Amendments referenced on the web site.  I'll contact
Free W1NPR and see if he can add those.
