Stop!! Time out!!! we have something that is beginning to look like a octipus...
Why don't we move all of this over to the FPAC list where it will be available
for all to see instead of all of the G!@#$@!!@#$% sidebars!!!
Here is the reason why, when we need to look back and find it we
will have to dig through all of these sidebars to find it and on top of
that Bernard has begged that we get all this sort of info to him so he
can DOCUMENT IT!!!! We have a book (thick one at that) of info in
sidebars and we still keep on insisiting on doing !@#$!#^ sidebars
and then 6mo later someone comes around and wants to know how
to do something and we have to go and either run through it again
OR dig through all of the sidebars to find it. This stuff is not secret
and indeed we need to get it to where Bernard can get it into his work
that he is doing so we will not HAVE to dig through it..... (Don't take
me too seriously I just got back from a trip to NY and NJ, indeed
I had to drive from Rye down to Newark today so I got to see the
whole enchilada (eerrrr Big Apple) from north to south.... And then
I caught a bus with wings (sort of like the rats with wings you see
on city streets, I think they are called pigeons) back to Tampa,
thank God there were no screamers on board, though the lady
next to me had 5 kids, French and all VERY well behaved (kudos
Bernard) ranging from 3 to about 12, the one next to me went
to sleep on rollout and woke up at the gate in Tampa lucky him...
Back to the origen of this, I just do not understand why we insist
on running all of this on a sidebar when we have a very quiet
FPAC list and a rather quiet FADCA list that we could run it on,
I figure we keep the tech stuff on FPAC and the rest of it on FADCA.
Also with regards to FBB, Jerry, if you toss a question on the FPAC
list I bet that Bernard or Jean-Paul will get right back to you pretty
soon.
Bud, as to timing, I think that Jerry and Charlie have been doing
a lof of the work on this (I have been on the road most of the time
and doing a little bit of remote work with Jerry, and I am as guilty
as any as we had a hot sidebar going tooo....), so pleeeaaassssee
pretty please let is get this back on at least the FPAC list so that
it is there for reference and Bernard does not have to beg us to
dig it out, and from my experience the dig-out is never as good
as the original....
This also goes for all of those great sidebars over on the east
side of the state, you guys dug up some great data both on radios
on switches and all sort of stuff, but it is stuck in the sidebars,
we need it on the list for history sake...
Now I feeel betterrrr...
