[FADCA] TelPac Question

Greetings Gang:

   It seems that I have telpac up and running as far as a straight TNC
operation (connect to TelPac from Winpak terminal mode). I sent myself
some email and all seems well.

   Just curious, I have not found this answer in any docs that I have seen
thus far.... is it necessary for someone to connect to me via telnet or is
telnet just outbound (sending mail)?

   Reason is security for one, but also my network is not allowing me to
connect to my telpac station via telnet at the moment. I'm going through
two routers (which I can do via my echolink setup) but have not got this
part figured out yet.
