[FADCA] Here is where I am.

I have two systems and several HDs that I've been swapping. With the
Knoppix on a HD you can move a HD installion from one Box to another and
the startup adapts to the "new" enviorment.

I've tested DSL, Knoppix & Knoppix AFU. That includes three versions of
Knoppix & two of Knoppix AFU.

I would like to be able to re-master one of these systems and have a
Base system to deploy from CD. I am in the process of triming down a
knoppix system, but the process of cleaning out the un-needed apps is
somewhat of a guessing game. Right now the image file is somewhere
around 745 Mbytes.

Once I get the image pared down I can start working on the re-mastering
process. They tell me that the process is rather easy, but as of yet I
haven't accomplisted the task. I keep getting side tracked, by work & stuff.

On the subject of converting from DOS to Linux... I have a Linux script
which creates FPAC files. It's clunky, but it works. I have a Windows VB
program that uses the CFG file created by Netmger to create the Linux
fpac files. So far I am the the only one who has used them. I need some
testers.

I have a small "conference room" lab that I can open up for a small
group. It is available almost any weekend. If anyone wants to drag a
system over here and get some Elmering I'll be glad to accomadate them.
