Greg, as you work with your neighboring devices, please remember to submit a
request for coordination at the www.fadca.org site. Use the New Coordination
page and please complete all of the information requested.
As Bud indicated, we want to make sure that devices fit into the Layered
Network and cause no inadvertent interference to others. Please review the
band plan on the FADCA site, and the existing devices listed. Also, the
coordination still is in effect for the Ocala switch and the owner/trustee
of that switch needs to be included in the discussion to make sure we don't
have a coordination problem.
Because of the proximity of other Local Area Networks and the topology of
the area, it will be important to make sure new devices do not create
interference to other neighboring LANs and Links. Also, depending on the
height of your antenna and output power, as well as you intended service
area there are several factors to be considered. If your Telpac Gateway
will also be accessible from the Layered Network, planning and coordination
of the 220 or UHF link frequencies to the neighboring devices must be
considered.
