Subject: WE0D (TelPac) Station

Hi Bud,
It's been a while but I have my TelPac station up and running again. It's
been on the air for about a month. I am operating on 145.01 via TAV's digi.
I understand the Ocala node is down and there are no plans to put it back
online. If you have any ideas how my telpac node could serve the community I
would love to hear your ideas. I am located in Summerfield, FL. 15 miles
south of Ocala on 441/27. I will wait to hear from you,
Best of 73's

Hi, Greg -

Thanks for the update. I'm in a very busy time right now - getting ready to
travel for almost the entire month of May! I've added KD4WOV, W5TWR, and
KA0OXH to this so you all can work out stuff in my absence.

Ed W5TWR has been working on networking in the Villages and Sumter County
and Tom KD4WOV is a good contact for Lake County. Dan KA0OXH will be making
another try at getting the Clermont switch (145.65) on the air while I'm
gone.

Yes, the Ocala ROSE is presently down and we don't know what/when will take
its place. Charlie K4GBB may have some ideas for the future there.

Much depends on how good the Clermont LAN coverage is to the Marion County
Line. Once we establish that we have several sites to evaluate for
improving coverage in western Lake and eastern Sumter County.

I'm also including this on the fadca at mailman.org reflector as we are now
filling in/expanding the statewide network and our Central Florida network
is no long an island - we need to be sure and let others know what is going
on.

I'll have only limited e-mail while traveling, perhaps not at all in
Europe. I'll be back June 5 or so and get back to work on the networking
stuff.
