Is the machine on line all the time? I will try to ping it and get a
address and
try a fixed address later on this evening.

It is working now. This is a win98 box linked to the linux server/fpac box.
I changed several things and I don't know which one fixed it. I can now
telnet to Charlie but we need to work on a few fbb type things for it to
work right....

Once I learn this linux fpac stuff I'm going to add fbb to it unless I can
come up with a newer bbs program..
