Hi All
As you know I have a new Linux fpac switch up and running. We still have a
lot of things to get tweaked in and here is one that I can use some help with.
I need to have my bbs beacon which is on port 4 beacon across the rose
switch (I don't have netrom set up) to my port 3 to go out over the air on
the LAN. I am using FBB and bpq for the kiss interface to a null modem
cable to connect to the fpac box. When I was running dos fpac I was able to
have it beacon across the ports with no problem using Beacon1.sys in fbb
and it worked with no problems. With the new setup I tried to use !
MAIL V W4AKH-3 to get it to go across the switch. The dos box had a call
of n4xeo on it the same as the bbs and now with the linux box the call is
different. The above will not work to get from port 4 to port 3. I do see
the beacon going out on port 4 so I know that fbb/bpq is getting it to the
switch it just won't cross ports...
Any ideas???
I am planning on adding linfbb to the box down the road once I learn what
I'm doing so it will be a while..
Thanks
Think about it .....
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
