[FADCA] DStar Field Test in TampaBay

The West Central Florida Group, Inc., operators of the NI4CE Repeater System ("Big Stick") will shortly be launching a Field Test of ICOM's DStar digital communications system.  A DStar RP-1 repeater will be put on the air from a platform at 805' AGL in Riverview and will be configured for both voice and data.  These tests are being conducted as a joint venture between ICOM and the West Central Florida Group, Inc.

Does the FADCA membership have any interest in DStar as a communications transport?  Is there any interest in a presentation on this project at the upcoming FADCA conference?  Please let me know.
