Charlie,
The ax25config program that comes with Knoppix AFU automaticly starts
listen up on console 11 (function key 11). If you look at the ax25 config
script file you will see that when ax25 is started up, listen is started on
console 11. I use it a lot to see what is going on from the switch perspective.

In fact I ssh into the switch and watch it remotelly.
