Take a look at the Google Map http://www.winlink.org/positions/ and zoom in
on the Telpac nodes in Florida. Some are for test purposes, but most of the
green dots show useable Telpac nodes on line.

Where a LINUX FPAC site also has internet access the Telpac Node is
co-located speeding up the bridging process. (Note K4GBB-10, KP4DJT-10, and
N4PLZ-10.)

To a degree, this relieves the need for a lot of Telpac nodes spread around
the LAN. However, it does not mean the co-located Telpac node need be the
only one! It just means we could concentrate on Telpac nodes in more
hardened sites, such as EOCs, etc. and less in hams QTHs which are generally
not hardened. There needs to be coverage in case the FPAC site either
looses its internet connection or the radio side becomes unusable.

So, don't stop building Telpac Nodes just because you see a lot of spots -
we need more!
