I have a very simple question:

What Secondary Station IDs(SSID) does FADCA either recommend or

request be used for each station's function within Florida?


Please provide a function/use for each:

-4
-5
-6
-7
-8
-9
-10
-11
and any  others.



  Karl:

	The SSID-s for APRS can be anything that you want. It use to be -9 was a
vehicle, -7 was a digi etc.... The symbol is chosen by your beacon and some
special text in it to indicate what symbol (house, car, truck etc) that you
want. Take a look here:
http://webs.lanset.com/wa8lmf/miscinfo/APRS_Symbol_Chart.pdf for the
symbols.

  I'll try and drum up the documentation on how to set the symbols up....
don't have it handy at the moment.
