This is good, we are all on a doistro of Debian which is also well supported
in the amateur community, indeed most of the principals are hams

Yes what we need to come up with is a system that installs all of the needed
stuff, and ask some questions, also if there is a way to import the
routing tables
from the old DOS or ROSE networking stuff into Linux FPAC then it is even
better.
