I am using Knoppix_AFU also, Charlie Crook is using the same with a
later version which uses the latest Knoppix distro.

I'm in agreement with Chuck about using Debian. It appears to be more
friendly, but desn't have the BIG commercial support that Red Hat has.
However, there appears to be a Big pool of Geeksperts who keep Debian
up-todate.

I have a "bare-bones" CD on my desk and plan to start a new system w/o
all the "extras" included in Knoppix_AFU.
Debian has a package magment system called APT which predates Red Hat's
RPM. I hope to gen a smaller system for use in "remote" packet systems.
