OK guys... I'm getting a lot of good feedback. But first!
I've switched to plan C...
Plan B was a disaster/comedy of errors. When I switched to the Compac
Laptop – I thought I had a Win98 OS. It was Win98, but somewhere along
the line got backed out to 95. Telpac does load and run on Win95, but
not properly. That would account for the problems: the connection to the
primary server always failing and basic commands from the radio port
never getting sent on the I-net port. I never got around to testing AGWPE.
Now to Plan C... I moved all the files over to my office WS. Not a perm
solution, but if it works I have a baseline to work from.
AGWPE does configure and run properly with a Tiny2.
I installed Telpac and edited the Banner/Beacon.TXT & TNC2_1.APS.
Telpac.exe executes & initializes with both the direct & AGWPE. I am
able to use the Debug terminal and connect to the Primary server. I am
able to send basic commands and get a response.
I have to stop right here....
I a short on resources till I get power back at my Home QTH.
