What type of packet controller is it? I called Kantronics and they said that
all controllers since about 12 years ago should take the numerical address
in the digi field just fine.
you may have to do it as someone else indicated:
c w4min v kc5qcn-9,863494

Using a comma between the -9 and the 863 rather than a space.
