[FADCA] Re: Information on Packet needed

Due to the work needed to get the Sun City Center (KE4ZIP) radio room back in 
operation from extensive remodeling, that packet station KE4ZIP-1 and my 
station kg4fcd-1 have been out of operation.
We are now ready to put both stations back on the air and we need some book 
learning. Previous request for the most part have gone by the board.
Both stations will be operating KPC3+ TNC's. Kg4fcd-1 is using a Cushcraft 
duel band on a 35' mast. The antenna on KE4ZIP-1 needs some thinking.
The club KE4ZIP is at present trying to determine if packet is something they 
want or need in their club station. My station at home in the past has been 
used to handle NTS Traffic and will continue to do so when back on the air.
Both stations are located about 30 miles south of Tampa and about 35 miles 
north of Sarasota.
Any help will be welcome.
