I am approaching the same problem regarding com ports here. I have enough, I
think, for the 3 FPAC switches I am trying to install now (my testing has
been longer than Bud's but I have found fans that go out and reboot problems
that required solving before installing at a remote - from me - site.)
I am trying to get equipment up for another FPAC in Clay County (Keystone),
Putnam County (Interlachen), and at least one in Nassau County (Callahan)
and possibly another in Nassau County (Hilliard) and need 3 to 4 more
computers and 3 to 4 more com port cards with 2 or more serial ports each.
I would really like to try some of the newer small computers that can run on
DC. If anyone has any ideas let me know. If someone would really get to
work on a LINUX operating system FPAC switch, I am ready to install one or
more.
