The Kantronics TNCs all have a KISS mode that may be used, also a HOSTE mode
as well as the standard CMD: mode.
If your FBB computer is running Windows you will have to use the Kantronics
TNCs in HOST mode. I forget about how it all works in DOS FBB.. but it may
be KISS mode and some special drivers that FBB has for the Kantronics TNCs.
The Kantronics TNCs are excellent for BBS operation. If you every have plans
for a 9.6kb port, then getting a KPC9612 is indicated as you can use 1200b
on one port and 9.6kb on the other port with FBB.
