Once read it appears to be read (not forwarded). Why read it if
your not going do
anything with it. Leave it to someone who can and will take care
of it.
Also, a good bbs sysop watches his bbs and makes sure the
messages get where they
are supposed to be. Don't blame the software.

no the problems were with the fbb software, once read, it appeared to be
forwarded, and dead end round robin forwarding, ending up on a bbs where
no nts operator checked. the content of the message need not be
entertaining or important, but the importance of delivering the message
is formost, or servicing it back to the originating station if it could
not be delivered. sysops and nts folks both need to be on board to make
it work. what is important, is keeping message handling skills
availiable
to be utilized when really important messages must be
forwarded/delivered...
