[FADCA] FADCA at Hamcation 2004

Thursday I received the following information from Cindy, KD4NLV regarding
the FADCA table/booth at Hamcation:

"Bud,

At this time there is no space available for the FADCA antennas/table.
Building 3 is filled and all of Building 2 will be utilized for forums
without interruption.  Sorry this has taken so long, but we had to be sure
on schedules and sales, etc.  Thanks for your patience on this.

I appreciate Cindy's efforts in trying to accommodate FADCA but we'll have
to come up with something else for this year.

FIRST - There will be a FADCA meeting at 1700 hours Saturday for exactly one
hour. (This follows the FRC meeting)  That is the only FADCA forum time
available on Saturday.  Please be on time.

SECOND - N3PPC and I plan on being available at the ARRL EMCOMMs forum on
Friday.  We will at least display the large placards on Digital Messaging in
Support of EMCOMMs, the Layered Network, and be available for Q&A if needed,
and may be able to give a demo starting at 1700.  That forum will be in the
small building very near the main entrance to Hamcation.

THIRD -  Several FADCA members are camping overnight.  Perhaps on
Saturday/Sunday we could put the placards up in a conspicuous place near one
of the motor homes and at least be available to answer questions if anyone
asks. I've not checked with those who may be camping, but perhaps they can
respond via e-mail in case something like this can be worked out.

BOD MEETING - We should set a time/place to have a short BOD meeting.  If WX
permits we could just meet near someone's motor home.  Otherwise, we'll have
to wing it!  Suggestions?

WB4MOZ- can you suggest a frequency for FADCA folks to monitor during
Hamcation?  That way if we have any dynamically changing information we can
pass it along on Saturday while shopping.

NEXT YEAR - FADCA will apply much earlier for FORUM time at Hamcation.

I'm disappointed we can't do better this year, but maybe we can at least
enjoy shopping and visiting at Hamcation!
