What is a "HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE", ANYWAYS?
Also, a lot of our guys use in commercial side of radio, use those
things with HYPERTERMINAL to talk to certain controllers...seems to work
with those as well...just a note, nothing important...

Yes, I saw that, but having purchased the same unit at almost $30 back
in July
while down in Ft. Lauderdale, and having used it as a serial port, I am
not sure
what they are getting at. The unit I had came up as port 3 on my X-Pee
machine,
and I think it came up as ttyUSB00 while under Linux.
A co-worker is using it and has had no problems with it so I am not sure
what
they are getting at. I used it to connect a GPS to my laptop in order to
get the
GPS data into a RF coverage tool I use in my coverage study work.
At $6 each I am still going to order one and give it a try again and
try to see
what they are getting at.
