[FADCA] portmapper

Help!  I have agreed to assemble a Comet GP-9N Dual Band (144 and 440)
antenna for WA2VLD.  The bottom section connected to the mid section just
fine.HOWEVER, the portion of the joint between the mid section of the
antenna that screws into the joint of the upper section will not go into the
upper section joint as it is supposed to. The lower portion of the joint is
too big for the upper portion, it will not go inside the upper portion far
enough to engage the threads.

Anyone with suggestions?
