Portmapper is a program from analogX that allows you to link ports from a 
win98/95 computer to a XP box lets say.
This is what allows me to open the ports in my firewall to allow the bbs on 
the other computer to do the telnet forwarding.
There's more to it than that but this is the readers digest version...
