Charlie,

Well my experience is mixed but you can get it to work....Best
suggestion...download and try the PE Pro...it is free for 30 days then $50
and I have found it much easier to install and test with. George SV2AGW the
author still offers the free version AGW PE but does not update it any
longer. The PE Pro supports more TNCs and I have found is more reliable in
Telpac and Paclink than trying to use the direct TNC. Telpac does not
support multiple connections on a direct TNC2 connection...it just isn't
reliable but is fine on the Packet Engine.

Subject: [FADCA] AGWPE setup

I downloaded a lb and a half of files in anticipation of setting up
Telpac w/ AGWPE support. The Telpac docs are pretty complete on the AGW
installion & testing.

However... I have been unable to configure AGW to support my PACCOM
Tiny2. The dialog box comes up and accepts all my input. When I close
the box I get a message that tells me to restart the pgm. I exit AGW and
re-load, but I am back to square one (No TNCs configured). It's like
playing shoots & ladders w/ my grandson!

I gave up and went w/ a direct TNC connection to Telpac. It appears to
be working. Unable to tell for sure cause Charley has also scrambled my
equipment.

Any hints which aren't documented?
