I was up on the county building with Gary yesterday. I think
it may be high enough to get over the ridge around Ft. Lonesome
and into Arcadia. That said I need a confirmation on the back
bone channels between SRQ and Arcadia. I want to check both
of them. It used to be a flat network ( raspberry heard in
background) between all 3 places (TPA,SRQ and Arcadia) is it
still so? If so then of course I will only need one freq, but
if there is now a separate freq for the Arcadia link from the
radio that talks to Tampa, then I would like to have both.

Of course if we can hear both sites, then CSMA should work
ok util we can get dedicated links to those sites.

Somewhere I have the calculations for a link between TPA and
Arcadia and the altitude needed I think was what we will now
have (back then is was wish in one had and spit in the other
observing which one fills the fastest) but now thanks to the
actions of Mr. Sessums we now have a nice high site to get
the links back up. That will get more interest in getting more
sites out there so that sooner or later we will alternate
paths out of TPA, but right now we just need to get the one
site up and running.

I regret that I will not be able to attend the hamfest, I have
to work and in this case will be off in Nigeria, but certainly
will try to keep up on what is going on while traveling.
