My spin:  The network will benefit if all backbones are direct, (i.e. two
separate frequencies in your case).

I have some Maxar 80s and Moxies (vhf and uhf) I can donate to the Cause if
you want some.  Some work, some don't and some are unknown.  If anyone there
is accustomed to working with Maxar 80s and Moxies (sameo-sameo) perhaps
these can be of help.

Let me know and I can bring some of these to Tampa if you like.
