hey Russ, went to the fadca list options, found it to be turned off... =
oppsss
any way, I have a linksys wap11 (modified), it is at my house and no =
outside antenna yet.
I do have it as a access point for any one who visits my area. Thou I =
need to work on getting a
laptop to check it, I have not followed through with testing it. I do =
have it set up on 192.168.2.250
and gateway to my winXP Pro sever on a single NIC. (primary ip =
66.12.230.238 /192.168.2.1 added)
doing this, I created a gateway for any traffic on the WLAN., though I =
do see some broadcast packets on channel
5, I do not see anything worth while other wise. Though we have a city =
utility that has 802.11 running around
Lakeland and a few other places running 802.11(?), I find traffic heavy =
on chl 11 the most and
nothing anywhere else, then again, I can not sniff it because I don't =
not have a laptop with lunix on it.
then again, wardriving is not my in my profile either.
As for the hospital deal, the wcf-digital group was going to try =
something of that nature for Morton-Plant
Hospital systems... kinda nice little project, due the synergy died on =
it in a bad way. Look for
wcf-digital on yahoogroups, you might be able to scarf the archives for =
our discussions... pretty neat if you ask me.
guess I need to light a flame and see if it will burn over there =
again...
73 for now, hope I can assist you in any way I can.
