[FADCA] F6FBB and Linux? Emulate SMSnode?

Hi all, I just dusted off the old Linux box and wanted to try experimenting 
with F6FBB.

The first thing I need to do is try and get F6FBB running. Can anybody 
advise what Linux package works best for F6FBB?

I have SuSE 6.1 and have not been able to resolve some failed dependencies yet.

I'm thinking about reinstalling a newer version of Linux and starting over.
