Charlie, N3PPC and I had a full day.

At Orlando we installed a 5-el 220 beam pointed in the general direction =
of Cocoa (#COA -X1J). With an old Kenwood 220 radio we could work #COA =
100% with low or high power at mid day. Mid next week we should be =
installing a 220 port at Orlando on the 220 flat frequency to link on =
down the coast to Melbourne through #COA. Once Melbourne is stable =
that will give us network connectivity from Hollywood through to St. =
Augustine and intermittent to JAX. STA to Jax will come solid 24/7 soon.

We also switched out the small test UHF beam for the DeLand link at =
Orlando for a more sturdy one with slightly more gain.

At DeLand we exchanged out the test 220 beam pointed to #COA for the =
vertical which will bring Daytona and DeLand back together 24/7. Once =
we have a steady link between Orlando-#COA-Melbourne, we won't need to =
be concerned about DeLand to #COA.

At Deland we exchange out computers - the original one there needed a =
timer to reset from the AC line about every 8 hours. We'll see how this =
one is.
