[FADCA] Free, a question for you

Hi Chuck,
Sorry to be late in my reply but I've been away for about 10 days.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, the FADCA site does not require
IE and the logo & link must have been carried along when I created the
first pages many years ago and Microsoft offered some perks for the link.
It has been removed.

I'm glad you bring the subject up as I hand code in strict HTML that should
run on any browser. I do not use any Java or Javascript and stay away from
browser specific code.

I test the site with Opera and several versions of Netscape as much as time
permits.
I also use an HTML validation program, http://www.htmlvalidator.com/

Even have a way to test for use with web tv. The interactive map doesn't
work with that but you can get the info you need from the menu and the
database works fine.

Even though I use frames the site has been tested and may be navigated with
a non-frames browser, even the new maps and interactive database. Not quite
as user friendly but you can get all the data.

I do admit to a couple of validation errors when making the pages work with
both frame & non frame browsers but they have not caused any problems to
date and sure make it easier than writing two whole sites.
