I know now what it was. It was the packet message I sent you. I later took my CDPD equipped laptop and sent you the packet message as an attachment.

I will do it again and see what happens, but will send it to you direct and not through the fadca mail server.

In this case, you received the message via packet because you answered it. You did not probably, as you said, the fadca reflector did handle the attachment.

(All of my email is going through the webmail server from my telocity IP provider as my windows computer with the email accounts ws messed up by the computer repair place (we WON'T GO INTO THAT AGAIN!))

I did not get a response earlier, I don't think. Will win2k run on Widows 95? How much drive space needed? I assume it will not run on dos, how about 3.1 - I am trying to find out how cheap a ham could be and use it in his or her personal laptop.

How many hams do we have with laptops they use for packet? Are willing to use and practice and participate in regular training sessions and similated nets and real nets?

Who are they, where are they?

Regarding N4SS, are there local packet users in Pensacola? I think it was reported he did not have a vhf port, I may be wrong. If here are no packet stations there must be no SEDAN users either.
