*Minutes for the Meeting on May 29th, 2020 (via repeater)*

*Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)*

The Meeting was called to order by President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:03 
PM on the K2ETS repeater. This was followed by the check-ins of 
participating members.

Bill K2WLR is now VP, Chris KD2PMP is now Secretary.Both welcomed. 
Outgoing officers were thanked for their service.

**Minutes**

Minutes went out shortly before the meeting. Larry W2LJ Thanked for support.

**Correspondence* *

Larry W2LJ – Just web developer spam via feedback form.

Vic K2NBC – reporting correspondence from Courtney Rinalide (sp) – 
Scotch Plains Rec. department. 5/1 They have application, will hold 
date, but will hold off on accepting the payment. Last Sunday (8/30) 
brookside park planned for picnic.

**Technical Committee**

Rich KB2LLM – All 4 repeaters are up and running.

Len WB2HKK – Running July 2017 version of Allstar. Dotydummy (sp) fixes 
audio timing. Restart Asterisk once a week and all seems well. 100% 
reliable repeater. Experimenting with ASLAMD running on his repeater. 
Only runs for 2 weeks and then loses communication, must do a full 
reboot to recover.Has posted some Allstar questions but gets no 
answers.Will continue with reliable old version until something better 
comes along.

KB2LLM Wondering about in person June meeting.May be possible.

Vic K2NBC - Thank you to first responders who are taking care of things 
and making them easier for all of us.

Len WB2HKK – Shared thoughts on challenges of shutdown and debugging an 
amplifier problem and gardening.

Vic K2NBC – Shared mother’s birthday story.

Pete KD2ARB – Allstar link group is in disarray as a major player 
left.It will need to reorganize. Reminder about WIN System Technical 
Net, Friday 10 PM.

Vic K2NBC – Apologized for dropouts at the last meeting, it was a 
problem with the cooling fan, but it all seems to be working now.

Pete KD2ARB – Hamfest updates. No Sussex Hamfest.
