Minutes for the Meeting on June 30th 2017
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:04
PM. This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
Minutes for the May meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was made by
KC2YRC nd seconded by K2DSV to accept them.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
March 2017 Opening Balance - $ XXXX.47
Income -   50/50 - $XX.00,   Members Dues & Donations - $XX.00, Coffee Can
$X.00, Hamfest $XXX.00
Deposit - $XXX.00
Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee , $XX.52 Verizon Payment,
Parts Reimbursement $XXX.00, Club Insurance $XXX.00
Closing Balance - $XXXX.95–  so we are $XXXX.12 “ahead” compared  to last
year.
A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by K2DSV to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Technical Report
The Motorola repeater constructed by WB2HKK will be installed the weekend
following the club meeting. The repeaters installed now are doing OK. The
current machine will become the primary backup repeater at the hospital.

Old Business
Picnic – Still trying to secure dates when the park is available.
Hamfest – Len WB2HKK donated $100 to the club. Len and Rich KB2LLM will be
going to the SCARC Hamfest in Sussex as will W2WK and W2OU.

New Business
Formal introduction of new member Chris KC2PI. In the fall, Chris will give
a presentation on data communications in Amateur Radio.

Health and Welfare
Gene K2KJI's wife is not doing well.

Presentation – Larry W2LJ presented a powerpoint on the South Plainfield
Amateur Radio Club's Field Day.

Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by
W2VFW. The meeting was adjourned at 9:21PM

50/50 – Won by  W2WK – donated back to the club
