Minutes for the Meeting on January 30th, 2015Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)
The Meeting was called to order by  Vice President Dave Vadney, W2OIL at 8:08 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  
Meeting MinutesThe November/December minutes were successfully e-mailed to all members. With that in mind, a motion was made by Walter W2WIQ and Mike N2JUN to suspend the reading and the minutes were accepted as published.
Treasurer’s ReportTreasurer’s report as given by Vic K2NBC.Opening Balance - $XXXX.82Income -   50/50 $XX winnings donated back, $XXX Holiday Party, $XXX DuesParty Disbursements -  $XX to W2OZO , $XX to the Vadneys for party expensesDeposit - $XXX and an additional $XXX from duesRegular Disbursements - $XXX party pizza, $XX.09 December Verizon, $XX.16 January Verizon, $XX Picnic depositClosing Balance - $XXXX.57 –  so we are $XXX.54 “ahead” compared  to last year.A motion was made by WB2HKK and seconded by N2JUN to accept the Treasurer’s Report. By unanimous vote the report was accepted.
Dave brought up the fact that we need to consider some kind of fund raiser to enhance the club treasury.

Technical ReportRich KB2LLM reported the brand new 220 MHz amp is at his home, he is waiting for the weather to clear so the repeater site can be accessed and the installation completed. Rich replaced the FioS backup battery at the site and asked thatthis be considered his dues for 2015. Everything else is working well. Rich is considering installing the All Star board and has asked that the membership discuss repeater announcements at the February meeting.

New BusinessFrank KG2CJ announced his 220 MHz Alinco mobile radio is for sale - $200Drew W2OU mentioned that Mike Terrusso's ballooning presentation would be coming up shortly.There will be a presentation on D-Star at the RVRC on February 11th.
Health and WelfareCharles Crane KC2GSH passed away.Don K2DSV had been hospitalized for the implanting of another stent. He is doing well.Bill Koeth W2WK had a quadruple bypass and is also doing well.Ron WV2RJR's mother had passed away recently.
AdjournmentA motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by WB2HKKThe meeting was adjourned at 8:52 PM
