Push SET for 1 second to Enter quick set mode. Push UP or DOWN to TONE. Rotate dial to select desired tone frequency. Good hunting.

I would like to try it but can't seem to figure out how to set the PL on
the 718, My only HF rig.

The manual mentions nothing that I can tell.
