for the Meeting on July
25th, 2014
Electronic
Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)


The Meeting was
called to order by  President Jeff Lih, N2VHV at 8:03 PM.  This was
followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by
self-introductions of all those in attendance. 
Meeting Minutes
The June minutes
were successfully , which
were graciously recorded by Drew W2OU, in the absence of Larry W2LJ,
were read. A
motion for
acceptance was made by W2WIQ
and was seconded by W2OIL.
The motion was unanimously passed.
Treasurer’s
Report
Treasurer’s report
as of July 25th given by , Dave W2OIL as reported to him by Vic
K2NBC.
Opening Balance -

Income -  None
Disbursements -
$XX.12 to Verizon
Closing Balance -
$XXXX.23
As of August 1st,
the Club's Annual Equipment Insurance Premium of $XXX.20 will be due.
A
motion was made by W2WIQ
and seconded by N2JUN
to accept the Treasurer’s Report. By unanimous vote the report was
accepted.
Correspondence
Some QSL cards for
ETS received at the ARRL Convention were displayed.
Technical Report
Rich KB2LLM reported
that Walter W2WIQ successfully solved the 220 Amplifier problem. The
issues we were having was due to a bad lead from the Amplifier output
to the duplexer. The lead was exchanged. Everything is working fine
on the 2 Meter repeater. The computer controller needs some work as
there are linking problems. Also, it was discovered that the UPS on
the backup repeater is probably dead.
KB2LLM submitted a
bill for $25.90 to cover his cost from purchasing connectors. A
motion was made by W2OU and seconded by N2JUN to reimburse Rich, was
unanimously approved by the membership.

Health and Welfare
Vic K2NBC's mother is home from the hospital. 
Our President Jeff N2VHV is doing better dealing with his COPD.

A motion was made to
adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by K2DSV The meeting
was adjourned at 8:40 PM
The 50/50 was won by
Drew W2OU, who donated his winnings back to the club.
