Meeting minutes for 04-27-12.

The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by Pres.
Joe W2OZO at 8:04 PM. We started with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll
call.

Minutes of the March meeting were read by Secretary Gene KC2WDZ. Minutes
accepted by W2WIQ and Seconded by N2LGS.

Treasurer’s Report-
Victor, KC2NBC stated that the current balance is $X,XXX.17. Since the last
meeting the club received payments for 6 picnic tickets, 1 dues, and other.
A phone bill of $XX.99 was paid. Accepted by N2VHV, Seconded by KC2YRC.

Correspondence–
W2OZO received a note with information on the “Ham-Mecca” event which he
read to the club.
W2OZO also received an email from W2IU, who feels no changes should be made
to the bylaws of ETSNJ at this time.

Technical Report–
Rich KB2LLM reported that all is well with the 220 machine and 2 meter
machine. Work is still being performed to connect the 2m repeater to the
asterisk system.

Old Business-
K2CPA spoke about shirts with a club logo. He also passed out a catalog
with color choices.
There is no net scheduled for Wednesday July 4th.
There was a brief discussion about possible door prizes for the June Picnic.
The updating of the ETSNJ bylaws has been progressing along slowly so it
was discussed and decided to dedicate 45 minutes of the upcoming May
meeting for discussion about changes and updates to the bylaws. Members
should review the bylaws and come to the May meeting to suggest changes.
The plan is to have the bylaws updated within the next 3 meetings.
New Business-
W2OZO presented Certificates of Appreciation to N2HRJ and KC2WWW for their
help in acting as Net Control Operators for the Wednesday Night Net. The
certificates were prepared by W2OIL and KC2YRC.
The club received 2 new member applications. Both applicants were present
at the meeting.
Health and Welfare-
None
50/50-
W2OZO won $25.00 and donated it back to the club.

A motion to adjourn was made by W2WIQ and seconded by KC2YRC
The meeting closed at 9:21 PM.
There are 18 names on the sign-in sheet. 16 are club members.
