                                                         ETS of NJ Meeting
minutes for 03-30-12



The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by Pres Joe
W2OZO

at 8:09 PM. We started with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.



Minutes of the January and February meeting were read by Secretary Gene
KC2WDZ.

January minutes accepted by N2VHV, Seconded by W2WIQ.

February minutes accepted by W2WIQ, Seconded by N2VHV.



*Treasurer’s Report* - Victor, KC2NBC stated that the current balance was
$X,XXX.10. Last year at this time the balance was $X,XXX.17. Two phone
bills totaling $XXX.00 were paid this past month for the repeater site.

Accepted by K2CPA, Seconded by N2VHV.



*Correspondence* – None



*Technical Report* – Rich KB2LLM reported that all is well with the 220
machine. A special thanks was given to W2WIQ for repairing the 220
amplifier. Rich is working on acquiring a new fan for the amplifier. Work
is still being performed to connect the 2m repeater to the asterisk system.



*Old Business*- Discussion/Reports on changes to the club bylaws and
elections were held over till next meeting.

Dave W2OIL reported the ETS of NJ Picnic on June 10th will cost $15.00 per
person. There will be a pig roasted in addition to a BBQ.



*New Business*- W2OIL and KC2YRC had a large K2ETS banner made. Which will
be used to display at meetings and special functions. They had picked up
all the costs for the banner.

There will be a vote to choose a new K2ETS Logo. The daughter of W2IU
created some very nice graphics of various logos. The logos will be
displayed on k2ets.com for members to choose and vote for their favorite.



*Health and Welfare* –Condolences were had on the passing of W2VHW’s
sister. A motion by W2WIQ was made to donate $25.00 to a charity of choice
on behalf of ETSNJ. Seconded by N2VHV.



A motion to adjourn was made by W2WIQ and seconded by N2VHV.

The meeting closed at 9:12 PM.
There are 15 names on the sign-in sheet. 13 are club members.
