Hi All,
I'm hoping someone may have some thoughts of feedback on the following
work related issue.
Here at work we are looking into having a new repeater system installed in
our 35 story commercial office tower. It will be replacing an older
Motorola repeater system.
A Manhattan based communications company has proposed a new system for $7000
It would be in the business band 450MHz - 470MHz
The $7000 price tag includes:
-ICOM ICF 6000 analog/digital repeater with internal duplexer @ $3000
-300 ft LMR600 coax @ $950
-2 omni directional antennae @ $450 ($225 each)
-FCC Licensing/Filing $700
-Installation, programming of new repeater and the existing handhelds (mix
of vertex, mots etc) $1300
other misc items such as cables, power divider (???), etc
Price does not include running of coax between repeater and antennae.
Anyone have an idea if the price tag is in line with a commercial repeater
system?? Other thoughts?
Thanks everyone,
73
