If you ever wondered how this business of QSLing started, I've attached a copy of the letter to the editor in the June 1916
QST. It was published a couple of times in the NJDXA Newsletter that Bob Greenquist K2GHV (SK) published and 
Ron Levy  K2CO (SK) edited. 

Since we have a lot of new members in NJDXA that may not know that we had a newsletter, I thought this would be of interest.
