  It is my sad duty to let you know that Al Roehm, W2OBJ, one of the
first VEs in NJ, became a Silent Key on Tuesday, August 24.  Al was a
retired Engineer who worked for Exxon.  His works were published in many
electronic magazines and he designed several devices used in Amateur
Radio.  He was 84.  He was licensed just after WW2 and seldom used a
microphone to communicate, to say the least, he was a CW aficionado.  
  His Obituary was found in the (Newark NJ) Star Ledger dated Wednesday,
August 25th, 2010.
