With many THANKS to Victor KC2NBC the minutes  follow:

Called to Order by W2OIL at 8:05 PM.
Minutes of last  meeting presented by W2OIL, AB2VE moved to accept, seconded 
by  W2OZO.
Treasurer’s report by KC2NBC. After payment to Verizon for all  moneys due 
and a payment to ARRL for W2WIQ’s renewal the balance at hand is  $xxx.xx.  
KC2NBC stated that the payments and commitments for the picnic  will be as per 
previous years, 48 to 50 attendees. Accepted by W2WIQ and  seconded by W2OU.
No correspondence was reported.
Technical  Report – Both KB2LLM and W2WIQ mentioned that a date would be 
setup soon to  relocate the repeater into the new location. They would need one 
day to prep  before the actual move.
Old Business – W2OIL stated that he has been in  touch with KB2VRM, the 
president of the R.V.R.C. He was waiting for the R.V.R.C.  to discuss at their next 
club meeting how the equipment from W2HMV’s estate  would be handled with ETS 
also involved. There was a general discussion about  the picnic and a 
conformation of the responsibilities of certain members who  were bringing the food 
and supplies. A question was asked about when members  should come to help out. 
W2OIL stated he would be there at 7:00 AM to start the  pig and that anyone 
wishing to help should show up around  9 to 9:30 AM.  Due to a question asked 
the Holiday Party date was confirmed as  12/16/07.
New Business – Since KC2NBC accepted the position of club  treasurer there 
was now an opening for club director. KG2CJ nominated himself  and W2OZO 
nominated KC2PLK. Private ballets were counted and KC2PLK won by one  vote. K2DSV 
brought up the following items:
Club members that are 75 or  80 years old should have the option to not pay 
dues and lose the voting rights  or continue to pay dues and have full voting 
privileges.
Widows of  former members should be invited to the club’s annual picnic and  
holiday  party at no charge. This would prevent the club from losing touch 
with these  woman and to let them know that they are still part of the ETS  
family.
The possibility of renaming the repeater W2KOG in honor of  Uncle AL. K2DSV 
stated he had a brief discussion with Al’s family and they did  not seem to 
have a problem with it.
It was decided to address items No.  1 and 3 during future meeting. Item No. 
2 was accepted unanimously by all  members present.
The 50/50 of $44.00 total was won by  K2DMP.
Motion to adjourn was made by AB2VE and seconded by  W2OIL.
Meeting closed at 9:34 PM.
There are 19 names on the  sign-in sheet with 19members.
