Actually, these are the newer, much more robust 3CPX800A7's that Eimac
recommends to replace the older 3CX's. The good news is: they're NO MORE
EXPENSIVE than the older weaker model. I can still sell one for $300 +
$7 to ship, two for $595 shipped fully insured anywhere in the lower 48
(shipped internationally at buyer's expense). But the bad news is: I
ONLY HAVE 5 LEFT, and when these are gone I don't expect any more.

#CPX800's are the same as the older 3CX version, but RATED FOR 3500 pv
idle and 3250 pv full load, while the older ones were only rated for
2500/2250. You can actually get 100-200 more watts out of them if you
run them at higher pv, but their real advantage for most of us is that
in normal amateur amps they have twice the life or more of the 3CX. I
have retubed my 87A and two LK-800's with them and don't expect ever to
retube again.

Don't miss your chance! 73, Jan N0JR
