[Elecraft] Elecraft CW Net Announcement

Good Evening,

    May is ending with cool nights, foggy mornings, and sunny 
afternoons.  The number of bird calls has increased quite a bit. The fir 
trees have popped the sheaths on their new growth, adding more shades of 
green to the forest.  The bracken fern are over nine feet tall in 
places.  Luckily it is too cool for spider webs.  I saw a few small ones 
climbing the branches.  A warm week will see them parachuting across the 
mountain.

    The sun has a few large sunspot groups and many smaller ones. There 
may be a CME hit today causing a magnetic storm.  It is not supposed to 
be very large.  We will find out about the after effects tomorrow.  
Jupiter and Venus are approaching each other in the western sky after 
dark.  Their conjunction is due June 8th. The Elecraft CW Net will be 24 
years old on June 7th.  Time flies.
