Good Evening,

    Early today I saw a line of turkey vultures soaring across the ridge 
above me.  It is warm enough for them to feed again.  The forest floor 
has almost vanished.  The undergrowth is flourishing.  Ferns are about 
six feet tall, just starting to unroll.  I can still locate most burrows.

    A previously active sunspot group is turning toward earth.  We may 
get a few CMEs as it passes across the sun and reawakens.  The solar 
flux is still over 100.  Expect moderate hissing. Hummingbirds space 
themselves along one leg of my 20 meter dipole.  The other leg passes 
through an alder tree which is regaining leaves.  The effects may 
balance out.
