Good Evening,

    A mostly foggy, wet week ended with a nice sunny day.  I took a 
hike.  The forest has little undergrowth this time of year.  The moss 
gets a lot of sun now, growth is swift.  I saw some over two inches 
long, looking like a moth's antennae.  The haploid phase is very 
different from the more well known diploid phase.  Too many sciences, 
too little time.

    The sun is less active but we are due to enter a few streams of 
solar wind.  That will get the ionosphere energized again. There are a 
few large sunspot groups but none of them are flaring.  Expect the 
normal noise with varying QSB.
